Who are we?
Established in 1998, ETEC provides specialist expertise in the field of highway and traffic engineering. Run by Engineers, with a combined relevant experience of over fifty years, we undertake work for Local Authorities, consultants and private clients throughout the United Kingdom.

How can we help you?
Our service encompasses all aspects of traffic engineering, from individual traffic signs to complete traffic calming and speed reduction schemes, all designed using the latest AutoCAD software. We are able to conduct and evaluate all types of traffic survey work including speed/volume, turning movement, origin/destination, traffic sign condition and continuity.

Other areas of our expertise include the design of estate roads, street lighting layouts, car park layouts, temporary traffic management layouts, special event and permanent tourist signing schemes. We can also provide temporary traffic signal designs and traffic impact assessments.

In addition to our technical services, we are also able to undertake Traffic Regulation Order consultation and processing, including preparation of plans and schedules to the required standards and any general public consultation or opinion survey work. This could be an invaluable resource should your authority be considering decriminalisation of parking.

We can work on individual commissions of your choice or alternatively we may be able to provide a member of staff to work within your organisation on an agency basis.
